LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Lone Star RV Park in Dilley, TX is known to have great hunting in the area for Dove, Deer, and Turkey!

Dilley calls itself the "Self-proclaimed Watermelon Capital of Texas," yet their statue is no more than five feet long -- and possibly smaller than some real watermelons. The cement statue in the city park dates back at least 40 years.

Not unlike Hope, Arkansas, Dilley has been famous for its summer watermelons.
